Spanish champions Real Madrid are now in desperate mood to sign Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah when the summer transfer window opens.
Los Blancos’ chiefs have reportedly offered Premier League side Liverpool Karim Benzema plus cash in their attempt to bring Salah to the Bernabeu this summer.
The Egypt international has been tipped to quit Anfield at the end of the season despite only joining the Reds from Roma last summer.
But Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp has insisted that the Reds are not interested in selling the former Chelsea star at any amount.
And according to the report by Don Balon, Real Madrid chiefs believe that offering Karim Benzema plus cash could convince Liverpool hierarchy to sell Salah.
Salah has been in superb form this season for Liverpool scoring a staggering 40 goals in all competitions for the Reds this term.
He has also guided Liverpool to the semi final of the 2017/18 UEFA Champions League where they will meet his former club AS Roma.
