Premier League side Everton have set the ball rolling in their bid to sign the prolific Nigerian striker Lukas Nmecha from Manchester City, ahead of the reopening of the transfer window, according to reports.

According to Reports, the Goodison club think they can tempt Nmecha from City with a better chance of games as his contract runs out.

Lukas Nmecha and his junior brother Felix are amongst the hottest properties at City Football Academy, between them they have scored 16 goals for Manchester City’s youth teams in the ongoing season.

Lukas is highly rated by City first-team coach Pep Guardiola and the Spaniard named him in the 18-man squad for the League Cup clash against Wolves in October.
